After a frantic weekend of action, including one big score for a very familiar face and a few close calls for another, the Turbo Series is halfway complete. Here's a rundown of all the action from Days 5, 6, and 7.
Bonomo bags another High Roller title
Justin Bonomo spent 2018 making high roller tournaments his personal domain. He brought that dominance online over the weekend when he won Event #54, the $5,200 8-Max High Roller event, for $192,427.76. Bonomo defeated Finland's elmerizz heads-up for the title.
Another big win for Justin Bonomo
Niklas "Lena900" Åstedt, who won his first Turbo Series title last week, nearly grabbed a second title over the weekend -- twice. First he finished Event #40, $109 NL 2-7 Single Draw, in sixth place. Then he finished second to spaise411 of Russia in Event #47, $109 HORSE.
Two more close calls for Niklas "Lena900" Åstedt
Finland's Sami "Lrslzk" Kelopuro, who also won a title last week, came close again in Event #57, the $215 Sunday Supersonic SE. Kelopuro finished fifth for more than $13,000.
