# 3 PokerStars.com-- (Does decline the United States) There are a huge selection of reasons that we consider PokerStars the outright safest poker site, BUT THEY DO DECLINE THE USA ( besides New Jersey)! They were servicing United States gamers considering that 2001 and are the world's biggest online poker website by a near 4-to-1 margin. On top of this, PokerStars is heavily controlled and has a dominating live presence in nearly every country around the globe. They are licensed and managed by the Isle of Guy, a British Crown reliance.
