Now we know that at least part of that rumor is true as DC has released the following image saying simply WW84, obviously implying the movie will take place in 1984. How much the year and the cold war will actually play into the movie is yet unknown. What we do know is that actress Kristen Wiig will be playing the villain Cheetah in the film and Narcos and Game Of Thrones actor Pedro Pascal will also appear in the film. The first Wonder Woman film made $821 million at the box office making it the second biggest DCEU movie behind only Batman V Superman.
